Take a hike across Fekete-hegy (Black Hill) to Vylyan Winery with us!
Discover the beautiful countryside of the Villány Wine Region on a guided hike from Hotel Cabernet in Villánykövesd to Vylyan Winery, located on the other side of Fekete Hill.
The route takes you through vineyards and peaceful countryside, with beautiful views over Villánykövesd, Palkonya, the surrounding vineyards and the nearby fish ponds. Along the way, your guide will introduce you to the landscape and natural surroundings of Fekete Hill, making the journey itself an enjoyable part of the winery visit. The walk from Hotel Cabernet to Vylyan Winery takes approximately 1.5 hours each way, with a total walking distance of around 7–8 km for the return trip. Once you arrive at the winery, you will have time to relax and discover the wines of Vylyan Winery before walking back to Villánykövesd.
Wine tasting and wine consumption at Vylyan Winery are not included in the price of the hiking tour. Guests can purchase wines individually or book one of the winery’s available tasting programmes separately.

The tour takes: 1,5 hours there, 1,5 hours back (about 7-8 kms), plus the time spent in Vylyan Winery. Please note: Wine tasting, wine consumption and other purchases at Vylyan Winery are not included in the tour price and must be paid for separately.
Validity
The tour starts: from April 1 to October 31, based on appointments, depending on the opening hours of Vylyan Winery and the availability of the tour guides. Meeting: at the reception of Hotel Cabernet. Registration for the tour is required in advance in every case! Please, write an e-mail for making an appointment (info@hotelcabernet.hu)!
Prices
Price of tour guidance: 3.000 HUF/person/occasion, but in the case of individual choice of dates and booking it is at least 18.000 HUF.
